weekend update.

RECAPS
-- i took a little bit of a blogging break last week and didn't blog every day. gasp! i know. i missed you, but i just needed a quick breather. we'll be back in full swing this week with a few guest posts from some of my cool friends!

-- american idol is in full swing and we are already down to the top 12! i am a huge fan of sam woolf. who are y'all voting for?

-- we have a riverwalk here in chattanooga, and it's not too far from where i work. so a coworker and i drove over on friday during our lunch break, walked a mile and a half, breathed in the fresh air, and headed back to work. it was wonderful! we will definitely be going on more lunch break walks this year.

-- i got to see my sweet friend, alison, on saturday! she was in chattanooga taking the praxis, and we grabbed lunch after and went to our cheap-o theater to see the secret life of walter mitty. i know, i talk about walter a lot. it's just so good!

-- some friends of mine moved out of an apartment and into a house this weekend, so i went over to hang out and keep their little one entertained. alice, who is 20 months, has given me the name of "moo-mah", which sounds an awful lot like "megan" in my opinion ;) kids are the greatest, y'all.

So so excited about Etsy Swap! Surprised but not surprised that JLaw didn't win best supporting actress. Saw pictures of JLaw falling, she is always adorable.

I miss being close to a riverwalk for moments like that! Also, I have been dying to see The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Can't wait!

I took the highly sensitive test and I was two away from being deemed "highly sensitive." I could relate to a couple of the habits they listed in the article as well. That was an interesting read!

It is totally okay to talk about Walter Mitty a lot :) (or at least it is with me)! Also, I am so excited about the etsy swap!! I have already started "stalking" my person :) (in a non-creepy way of course).

We still have a good amount of snow, with more forecasted on the way :( This year it's projected that we'll get the last frost at the end of April. So we should start thawing out by May!
