When we started planning for this shower, I knew I really wanted to use Minted products because I know from personal experience how wonderful they are! Plus, Alex LOVES Minted, and I knew she would appreciate quality invitations and decorations. She's a classy lady, that Alex. After scouring through every baby shower invitation option, we landed on the Rustic Ribbons.
Madilynn's nursery is decorated in pink and gold, so we definitely wanted to incorporate that theme into the baby shower. I picked out decorations from the Two Sweet collection, and they ended up being absolutely perfect! We got a little creative with the cupcake toppers and turned them into a cute bunting for the cake. (Props to my friend Heather for that idea!) My favorite decorative piece was the adorable bunting banner we had made with Madilynn's name. It will be perfect for re-use in her nursery or elsewhere!
Celebrating my friends is something that brings me so much joy, and I'm glad to have had the opportunity to plan a few showers over the past couple of years. We had such a beautiful time eating yummy foods, praying over Alex and Madilynn, and watching Alex open the multitude of gifts friends so graciously gave her. I'm over-the-moon excited for the day Alex's little one finally arrives so that I can hold her, tell her funny jokes, teach her how to say "Aunt Megs", and read stories and sing songs about Jesus. I love you already, Madilynn Riley!
