A couple of months ago, I went to New York to spend a weekend with my dear friends, the Kakacs. If you don't already know, Sam and I met via the blog world, became close friends, but didn't meet in real life for over a year. Our first time meeting was in the La Guardia airport when I flew in to visit Sam and her hubs. Ha! Call me crazy. We had the best time together, and if you have the chance to know the Kakacs, I highly suggest you don't pass on the opportunity. Sam and Tyler are some of the most thoughtful people I have ever known, loving Jesus and people so very well.
While I was visiting, they surprised me with a fun day of adventure in New York City, and we walked until our little legs could walk no more. On our list of sights to see was Rockefeller Center. We were secretly hoping to run into our BFF Jimmy (AKA Jimmy Fallon to those of you who don't know him. Wink.) Unfortunately he didn't have time to meet up with us, so we walked the city streets on our own. We enjoyed our time exploring, taking photos, shooing birds, watching ice skaters, and soaking up every moment.
