1 | I was up at Eagle Lake on Friday and Saturday where I spent past summers. It was snowy when we arrived, but everything had melted by lunchtime. Colorado is cray. It was so refreshing to be up on the mountain, to be around old friends and new friends, and to meet and serve the new summer staff!
2 | So I hung out with this guy at camp. He's kind of the coolest, so try not to be too jealous. We sat around talking about days gone by and all of his work with the Avengers. ;)
3 | With all of the rain and flooding we've been having, it's been hard to get outside, go hiking, or get any kind of Vitamin D. Yesterday we took advantage of the nicer weather to take a short hike and sit in the sunshine.
4 | A friend and I were heading home from dinner and decided to swing by the overlook to take in this view of Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. We couldn't pass it up because the sun was finally shining and everything was covered in a magical light. I stood there staring at how beautiful it was and reminded myself never to get used to this. I never want to be at the point where I no longer feel awe and wonder at this sight.
